How long does it take to receive my order?
It can take anywhere from a week to three weeks for you to receive your order. This is based on order processing time and shipping time. The farther the item has to ship the greater the shipping time. Some USA made products can take up to 8 weeks or longer depending on inventory.
Do you provide a tracking number so I can track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been shipped we will email you a confimation and tracking number so you can monitor your shipment and its delivery date.
Do you ship Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air?
No. We do not ship Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air at this time. All orders are shipped UPS ground.
Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
We do ship to Alaska and Hawaii upon special request.
Do you ship international?
We will be shipping internationally soon. For now only to Canada. Canadian shipments are not eligible for free shipping on orders over $100.00 or flat rate shipping for orders under $100.00. Shipping charges will be displayed on your order form at checkout. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information or questions on Canadian shipments. Canadian Customs charges are not included in your order amount. Any Customs charges, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser / customer.
What do you charge for shipping?
For orders to continental US under $100 we charge $10.00, orders over $100.00 (Under 50 lbs.) ship FREE via UPS or FedEx ground. Canada shipments are charged the shipping rate based on weight, size and distance. There is no free or flat rate shipping to Canada.

How do I pay for my fireplace accessory?
Through our secure online shopping cart you have the option to pay with several major credit cards.
Can I pay by check?
Yes. We will hold the shipment of your order until payment has cleared our bank. This may be as long as two weeks or more depending on the banks processing procedures.
What information do I need to provide to pay by check?
List the items you want and total the amount due. If you total is over $100 there is not shipping charge. If under $100 please add the $10 shipping charge to the total. If we are shipping to Washington state you must also add the 9.0% sales tax. Include your name address and phone # and/or e-mail address so we can contact you if we have any questions. Mail with your check to: R & T Ventures, P.O. Box 3753, Bellevue, WA 98009. Upon receipt of your order we will contact you to verify the accuracy of the information provided and that we have interpreted your order correctly before we start order processing.
Is there state sales tax?
Only if you reside in Washington state. There is a 9.0% sales tax added to the order.
What do I do if I can't find what I am looking for on your site?You have two choices. One you can go away unhappy and dissatisfied, which we do not recommend. Or two, you can send us as complete a description as possible (manufacture, color, material, dimensions, style and anything else you feel may be helpful) with pictures if you have any. We will search all of our suppliers. If we are able to find what you want we will provide you with availability and price quotes with descriptions and pictures if available. We will respond to you within 24 to 48 hours.

Do you have items that are backordered?
We work hard to make sure all items on our site are in inventory but occasionally items can become backordered.

How do I determine the size of the screen needed for my fireplace?
While many fireplace screens are bought to enhance the beauty of the fireplace and the room if your main purpose for buying a fireplace screen is to keep the sparks out of your room then you need to know how to measure for the correct size screen. Sizing is very important in order for the fireplace screen to do the job it was meant to do.
Single Panel Fireplace Screen - be sure to measure the height and the length of your fireplace opening. Then look for fireplace screens that are 1-2 inches long and taller than the opening. This is to ensure that sparks do not get beyond the screen and into the room.
Folding Panel Fireplace Screens – because these screens fold you need for them to be 10-12 inches wider than the fireplace opening so you can fold them enough to ensure that they do not tip over. You want them to cover the entire opening. Also make sure they are 1 – 3 inches taller than the opening.
Please keep in mind that not all fireplace screens are designed to keep the sparks out of your room. Obviously the decorative screens that do not have any barrier are purely for decoration. Glass fireplace screens can also cause a problem. Some glass fireplace screens are for decoration only because their glass is not tempered. And stained glass fireplace screens are for definitely for decoration only. Just make sure before you buy a fireplace screen that you know why you are buying it (decorative, functional or combination of both) and you know the correct size to get.
