POLICIES & WARRANTIES

Shipping Policies
We normally ship all in stock items within 5 business days from the time your order is received. Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEX ground within the continental United States and Canada.  Actual delivery time will vary according to your UPS or FedEX Zone (in most cases it averages 6-15 business days from the day that the order was placed).  Any item that is "out of stock" will be backordered and will be shipped immediately upon it's arrival in our warehouse.

Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control will require additional shipping time. Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer. Some items may be temporarily out of stock for as long as 2 to 6 weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you if items are backordered and customers will be notified if item ordered has been discontinued or is no longer available.

We ship all orders UPS FedEX or by common carrier weekdays Monday - Friday.  Once an order has shipped we will email you the tracking number for your order.

Shipping charges are based on total dollar amount of your order.  At checkout you will be able to see your shipping charge .

Sorry, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii (we will ship to these states upon special request.  Please email support@ToolsForFireplaces.com for assistence.).

Return Policy
All returns require authorization. All return requests for non-damaged goods must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods by e-mailing support@toolsforfireplaces.com. All returns for unwanted merchandise are subject to a 20% restocking fee and a fee for actual shipping costs.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. In order for credit to be issued merchandise must be returned in original packaging and be in saleable condition.

Damaged Goods Policy
If, upon receipt, goods are damaged email support@ToolsForFireplaces.com within 7 days from receipt of damaged goods for return authorization. Any claim for damage or warranty issues will need to be accompanied by pictures of both the box and the product.  We need this information to determine if the damage is due to shipping or the result of the packaging being used.  The manufacturers request pictures and serial numbers, where applicable, for warranty issues as well.  There is no restocking fee or additional shipping fees for damaged goods being replaced. Replacement goods will be shipped the same method as original shipment.

Backorder Policy
If
an item is backordered we will notify you within 24-48 hours of this situation and let you know the estimated date of arrival. You can choose to keep your order active, change to a different item or cancel. If you cancel your order you will be credited the full amount back to your credit card.

If you choose a different item at a different price your credit card will be credited the difference if the new item is less than the original or your card will be charged the difference if the new item is more than the original. Shipping charges could change if price changes.

Canada Shipping
Canadian shipments are not eligible for free shipping on orders over $100.00 or flat rate shipping for orders under $100.00.  Shipping charges will be displayed on your order form at checkout.  Please contact us at support@ToolsForFireplaces.com for additional information or questions on Canadian shipments.  Custom charges are not included in your order amount.  Any custom charges, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser / customer.

 

Manufacturers' Warranties



General Warranty Procedures

To expedite the handling of your claim, please adhere to the following procedures:

1.    Please open and inspect your package as you receive it.  Refuse any package if it is damaged. 

2.    Please call or e-mail us within 24 hours if, after opening your package, the product is defective. 

3.    If, within the time period of the stated warranties (listed below), something is wrong with the material or workmanship please e-mail or call us with the model number, serial number and date of purchase. 

4.    Manufacturers require at least one repair attempt before replacing the product.

5.    Do not ship defective or damaged goods back without first contacting ToolsForFireplaces.com for instructions.

6.    If the manufacturer chooses to have items returned for quality inspection, you will receive a RGA (Return Good Authorization) to return the good directly to the manufacturer.  Please have the product packaged and ready to ship upon receiving authorized paperwork from the manufacturer.

7.    Labor allowances are not guaranteed.   Please note below if the manufacturer of your product has a policy regarding labor claims.

 

     Achla (Minuteman and Adams)

90-Day Limited Warranty

All Minuteman International-Achla Designs products are covered by a 90-Day warranty against manufacturer defects from the date of the purchase.  A proof of purchase, showing date of sale, will be required in order to file a warranty claim.

Return of Unwanted Product

Notification of unwanted products must be made within 15 days of purchase.  A Return Authorization must be requested.  All returns for unwanted merchandise are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.  Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.  In order for credit to be issued merchandise must be returned in saleable condition.

Limited Warranty

blomus products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturer’s defects.  Please inspect all merchandise immediately upon receipt.

 All unwanted product requires a return authorization and is subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Authorized returns must be returned within 30 days of receipt.  An RA number can be obtained by contacting ToolsForFireplaces.com.  Returns must be repacked and returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition, along with an RA number to ensure proper credit.  Failure to comply with this policy will result in a reduced credit amount.


     Enclume

Five-Year Limited Warranty

This product is warranted to be free of material defects for a period of five years from the date of purchase. Customer's exclusive remedy shall be the repair or replacement of the defective product and shall be subject to the following conditions: (1) notice of any defect is received by Enclume within the warranty period and (2) customer returns the defective product to Enclume Design Products, Inc., 24 Colwell St., Port Hadlock, WA 98339, postage prepaid within 20 days following a return authorization number being provided to the customer by Enclume. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ENCLUME SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE PURCHASE OR USE OF ENCLUME'S PRODUCTS.

We offer repair or replacement of products as needed. We recommend that you first contact the retailer who sold you our product.
 

     Landmann

Landmann’s mission is to guarantee your satisfaction with the products you purchase.  Therefore, if you are not satisfied with an item, and the item is in the same condition and original packaging in which you received it let us know within 30 days and you may return it within 60 days of receipt for a full refund.  Please contact ToolsForFireplaces.com for a Return Authorization Number before returning the item. 

One-Year Limited Warranty

Landmann Fire Pits are guaranteed for a one-year period from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. 


     Pilgrim Home and Hearth

How Our Warranty Works
Pilgrim will, at its discretion, repair or replace, free of charge, any Hearth or Home item which proves to be defective due to normal use. 

Warranty Disclaimer
Any implied warranties arising out of this sale includes, but is not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Pilgrim shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses, or damage incurred by the consumer or any other user. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of implied warranties or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply.

Pilgrim – Lifetime Limited Warranty on Pilgrim

Every Pilgrim Brand product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser against defective materials or workmanship for the life of the product.( For Grates this is a Five (5) year limited Warranty on Manufacturer defects.)   A copy of the original sales receipt is required. This warranty is void if product was damaged by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect not arising from defects in materials or workmanship.

Part can be shipped to repair or replace items – No touch up paint available as units are powdercoated. 

Pilgrim requires the following information from the carton:  Item #, Product # (5 digits), Manufacturing Date, Lot # and a photo for all warranty claims.  If no photo is available, customer must ship unit to Pilgrim for repair, return or replacement at manufacturer’s discretion.

Napa Forge – Three-Year Limited Warranty on Napa Forge
Pilgrim guarantees the materials and workmanship of its Napa Forge products for three years. Pilgrim will, at its discretion, repair or replace, free of charge, any Napa Forge item which proves to be defective due to normal use. The warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

     Two Dogs Designs for Outdoor Living

One-Year Limited Warranty

Two Dogs Designs outdoor covers are guaranteed for a one-year period from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.  The guarantee pertains to home use of the covers.  Two Dogs Designs will replace the defective product, as it deems appropriate.  The product, along with proof of purchase, must be returned postage prepaid.  Warranty does not cover wear and tear from usage.

Ten-Year Exclusive Limited Warranty on Solid Brass and Specialty Line Merchandise

Two-Year Limited Warranty on all other Fireplace Accessories

One-Year Limited Warranty on Outdoor Products

Blue Rhino Global Sourcing, LLC (“Vendor”) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product, and to no other person, that if this product is assembled and operated in accordance with the printed instructions accompanying it, then for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, all parts in such product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Vendor may require reasonable proof of your date of purchase. Therefore, you should retain your sales slip or invoice. This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of parts, which prove defective under normal use and service and which Vendor shall determine in its reasonable discretion upon examination to be defective. Before returning any parts, you should contact Vendor’s Customer Service Department using the contact information listed below. If Vendor confirms, after examination, a defect covered by this Limited Warranty in any returned part, and if Vendor approves the claim, Vendor will replace such defective part without charge. If you return defective parts, transportation charges must be prepaid by you. Vendor will return replacement parts to the original retail purchaser, freight or postage prepaid. 

This Limited Warranty does not cover any failures or operating difficulties due to accident, abuse, misuse, alteration, misapplication, improper installation or improper maintenance or service by you or any third party, or failure to perform normal and routine maintenance on the product as set out in this owner’s manual.  In addition, the Limited Warranty does not cover damage to the finish, such as scratches, dents, discoloration, rust or other weather damage, after purchase. 

This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Vendor disclaims all warranties for products that are purchased from sellers other than authorized retailers or distributors, including the warranty of merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. VENDOR ALSO DISCLAIMS AND ANY ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. VENDOR SHALL NO LIABILITY TO PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Vendor further disclaims any implied or express warranty of, and assumes no responsibility for, defects in workmanship caused by third parties. 

This Limited Warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights; a purchaser may have other rights depending upon where he or she lives. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long a warranty lasts, so the above exclusion and limitations may not apply to everyone. 

Vendor does not authorize any person or company to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with the sale, installation, use, removal, return, or replacement of its equipment, and no such representations are binding on Vendor.

Any request to return merchandise will be allowed or disallowed at the discretion of WoodEze. All returns must have a Return Goods Authorization Number. WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, RETURN MERCHANDISE MAY BE REFUSED WHEN DELIVERED TO WOODEZE.  All merchandise returned must be shipped freight pre-paid and is subject to a minimum restocking charge of 20%.  Please properly package and insure the item so a claim can be filed with the carrier if damage occurs during return shipping. Claims cannot be made on items not properly and securely packaged.  All returns must be made within 10 days of receiving authorization. All return goods must be in the original packaging and in new re-saleable condition.

Warranty

All items are guaranteed by the manufacturer. Depending on the item, the warranty period varies. All items are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects when received. Specific warranty periods vary by manufacturer.
